BIG IMPACT
Over two semesters, students enrolled in Galena High School advanced construction and Truckee Meadows Community College CONS198 courses will have direct practical experience applying trade skills from framing to plumbing to electrical on a complete tiny home build project.

THE VISION
Our purpose, in partnership with families and community, is to develop each youth intellectually, artistically, emotionally, physically, and socially so that all students are life-long learners, complex thinkers, responsible global citizens and effective communicators.

CHALLENGE
Generous Optimist donors have offered to donate unrestricted funds up to $5,000 toward the first tiny house build project. For every two dollars spent on the project, the donor will match one dollar.
Donations received through Galena Tech or Optimist Club of Reno will be eligible for the matching.
All Challenge Donors contributing to the initial seed funds for the first project will become part of the the special foundation sponsor category called the Builders Circle..
